Question - On page 3 regarding "Eligible Proposers" it states that the organization must be "qualified to conduct business in the State of California." Does this mean that the organization literally has to be a business and have a business tax license from the city as outlined in the WIA RFP? We are a nonprofit and in good standing but are registered as a 501c3 in California.
Answer - Yes, Eligible Proposers need to be registered with a Business Tax License from the City of Los Angeles. Question - Our program focuses exclusively on youth ages 17 - 21. Is AYE looking exclusively for subcontractors that can work with the full age range of 14 - 21? Answer - No, proposers may target any age group with emphasis on Out-of-School as defined by WIA and the City RFP.
